Liudong Primary School – Former Site of the CCP Hexi County Committee is located at Wenming Primary School in Sandong Liudong, Chuantang Town, Dongyuan County.

In the spring of 1941, the CCP Dongjiang Rear Special Committee (abbreviated as the Rear Dongdong Special Committee), based on the then prevailing struggle conditions and the natural environment of Dongyuan County, approved the implementation of a small county and small district system in Dongyuan County to facilitate the leadership and activities of the Party organization. The Dongjiang River was used as the boundary: the area east of the river became the Dongyuan County Committee (referred to as the Hedong County Committee), while the area west of the river became the Hexi County Committee. In September 1941, the Chuantang District Committee was abolished, and the Hexi County Committee was established, with Li Fumin (Li Zhongda) serving as the secretary (until December 1941), Zhang Fanchuan (Zhang Ping) as the head of the Organization Department, and Huang (Wang) Lan (female) as the head of the Propaganda Department. The committee office was located at Wenming Primary School in Sandong Liudong (where Li Fumin and others taught as a cover). The Hexi County Committee governed five districts: Shangwan, Sandong, She Liao, Xinzhai, and Laowei, and was responsible for organizing and carrying out revolutionary struggle activities in the Hexi region.
