The former site of the Anti-Japanese Vanguard in Rubu Village is a classic red tourism destination.

The former site of the Anti-Japanese Vanguard in Rubu Village — Tao Koudian is located in Rubu Village, Yetan Town, Dongyuan County.

In 1938, the Guangdong Youth Anti-Japanese Vanguard (abbreviated as the “Anti-Japanese Vanguard”) was organized and led by the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Chinese Communist Party. The Dongjiang District Squad, consisting of over 60 members, arrived in Heyuan City in March 1939 under the leadership of Captain Tan Jiaju and Vice-Captains Lin Yaozu and Liu Ruichen to carry out anti-Japanese salvation activities. After arriving in Heyuan City, the “Anti-Japanese Vanguard” dispatched members such as Huang Ruochao, Wu Yimin, Li Guangzhong, Chen Bochang, and Huang Kefu to Huangcun, Yetan, and other areas to promote anti-Japanese salvation efforts and recruit new members. With the help of the Ninth District Squad, the Anti-Japanese Youth Vanguard was established in Rubu Village. After its establishment, the Vanguard actively carried out anti-Japanese propaganda through methods such as posting slogans and organizing literacy classes for farmers. The headquarters of the Anti-Japanese Vanguard in Rubu Village was located at Tao Koudian, with over 100 members and village captain Ouyang Yu.

The original site was a residential house with a brick and tile structure, which was rebuilt into a concrete store covering approximately 80 square meters in 2002.
