Yuli Village Kiln

Yuli Village Kiln is located in the Sanjinsui Mountain Hollow of Yuli Village, Sanheba Town, Dabu County. It dates back to the mid-Ming Dynasty. Excavated in 1986, a stepped dragon kiln was uncovered. The kiln walls were built with mud bricks, and both the firebox and the kiln tail have been destroyed. The remaining section is 6.32 meters long and 2.8 meters wide. The kiln chamber is divided into three compartments, each separated by brick walls, with varying slopes on the bottom of each compartment. Artifacts unearthed include double-handled vases, jars, plates, bowls, and three-legged censers. The glaze colors are grayish-green or bluish-green, and the inner bottoms of the plates often feature printed auspicious characters. It is a ceramic kiln modeled after the Longquan Kiln.
