The "Lin Ben Traditional Chinese Medicine Shop" in Dapu Township, which had been abandoned for 40 years, has been transformed into a visitor center with the help of local residents, and now also sells local specialties. The "Lin Ben Traditional Chinese Medicine Shop" offers locally made agricultural specialty gifts, including Qiao Bao beans, driftwood cultural and creative products, bamboo charcoal goods, and handicrafts. It also provides services such as guided tours, itinerary planning, and DIY activities. The building retains the historical charm of the former traditional pharmacy. The "Siraya Dapu Lohas Network - Lin Ben Traditional Chinese Medicine Shop" officially reopened on July 25.

During the renovation process of this abandoned house, nearly 20 local trainees volunteered their labor to carry out the reconstruction work, including reinforcing the interior space, replacing the roof, and improving the facade design. They became guardians of environmental interpretation, completing the project over nearly four months of effort. The aim was to preserve the old value with a local spirit while introducing new creativity, blending ideas from different generations. In the future, the second phase will involve establishing an online platform to provide more information and services. Visitors can go to the Lin Ben Traditional Chinese Medicine Shop, where local guides will serve tea and offer experiences showcasing the beautiful scenery of Dapu.
