Lianrui Liuxin Residence is a Guangdong Provincial Cultural Relic Protection Unit.

Lianrui Liuxin, a provincial-level cultural relic protection unit, is located in Hounan Village, Baihou Town. It was first built in the 19th year of the Jiaqing reign during the Qing Dynasty (1814). This grand structure, commonly known as "Nine Halls and Eighteen Courtyards," faces south and features three courtyards, two side wings, and one enclosed tower. Constructed with brick and wood, it has 68 rooms. The building spans 37 meters in width and 59 meters in depth, covering an area of approximately 2,300 square meters. The main gate is fitted with a stone frame, features a dragon boat-style roof ridge, and bears the inscription “Lianrui Liuxin” (Lotus Auspiciousness and Flowing Fragrance) on the lintel. The central section has three bays, separated by courtyards between the upper, middle, and lower halls, with a post-and-lintel construction. Lion pedestals and melon-shaped blocks support the crossbeams, while the brackets are designed in a horse-riding style. Corridors connect the various sections. The entire structure offers excellent ventilation and lighting, with a rational layout. The wooden components—including beams, brackets, brackets with carved patterns, diagonal supports, and crossbeams—are adorned with colorful carvings of figures, flowers, birds, and auspicious plants, all exquisitely crafted and brightly colored.

On December 10, 2015, Lianrui Liuxin Residence was officially approved and announced as part of the Eighth Batch of Guangdong Provincial Cultural Relic Protection Units by the People’s Government of Guangdong Province.
