The Guanxi Shizhu Residence is a cultural heritage site of Dabu County.

The Guanxi Shizhu Residence, a county-level cultural heritage site, is located in Hounan Village, Baihou Town. Built in the 32nd year of the Kangxi reign during the Qing Dynasty (1693) by Yang Qiong, it is named "Zhihuai Hall." The entire structure is shaped like a "snail," facing south with a northern orientation, featuring a flush gable roof and a brick-and-timber construction. It consists of three courtyards, two side wings, two auxiliary wings, and a rear building, totaling 124 rooms, with an overall width of 70.01 meters, a depth of 81.75 meters, and a total area of approximately 4,500 square meters. The entire building is constructed with blue bricks, and the three courtyards are separated by courtyards paved with cobblestones. The main columns are wooden on top and stone at the base, while the corridor column bases are either square or drum-shaped. The main column bases are octagonal, adorned with carvings of auspicious animals such as qilins, lions, cranes, and deer, as well as lucky flowers like plum blossoms, orchids, chrysanthemums, and bamboo, along with hidden Eight Immortals motifs.

The village covers a total area of 13.9 square kilometers, including 2,261 mu of arable land. The annual average temperature is 21°C, and the annual precipitation is about 1,552.3 mm, characterized by a subtropical monsoon climate. Major cash crops include rice and flue-cured tobacco, with the latter being the village’s distinctive economic product. The total rural economic income of the village in the previous year was 59.62 million yuan.
