The Sen Hall Ancestral Shrine

The Sen Hall Ancestral Shrine is a cultural relic protection unit of Guangdong Province.

The Sen Hall Ancestral Shrine is located on Qingmei Road in the county town and was built in 1937. It features a hybrid structure combining Chinese and Western architectural elements with reinforced concrete, bricks, and timber. The overall design adopts the traditional hall-style layout of Hakka residential architecture. The walls are constructed with bricks and timber, while the roof is poured with reinforced concrete in a gable-and-hip configuration and adorned with tiled decorations. The interior beams and eaves feature murals, and both the central hall and upper hall are adorned with carved wooden screens.

On November 8, 2008, the General Office of the People's Government of Guangdong Province issued the "Notice on the Announcement of the Fifth Batch of Guangdong Provincial Cultural Relic Protection Units," listing the Sen Hall Ancestral Shrine among them.
