Huaye Building in Hui Cheng Village is located in Sanhe Town, Dabu County. Dating back to the Republican era, it is a significant modern historical site and representative architecture.

On March 24, 2017, the Meizhou Municipal People's Government designated Huaye Building in Hui Cheng Village as part of the fifth batch of Meizhou Municipal Cultural Relics Protection Units.

Hui Cheng Village: Hui Cheng Village in Dabu County, Meizhou City, is situated at the source of the Han River, where the Meijiang, Tingjiang, and Meitan rivers converge. The village administers 25 villager groups, with 1,013 registered households and a population of 2,524. It covers a total area of 11 square kilometers, including 939 acres of arable land. The average annual temperature is 20°C, with an annual rainfall of about 750 mm. The climate is characterized by hot, rainy summers and mild, dry winters. The main cash crop is honey pomelo, and the village’s distinctive economic income comes from tourism. In the previous year, the village’s total rural economic income was 23 million yuan.
