Shizhen Village Shilu

Shizhen Village Shilu is a Meizhou Municipal Cultural Heritage Protection Unit.

Shizhen Village Shilu is located in Fenglang Town, Dabu County. Dating back to the Republic of China period, it is considered an important modern historical site and representative architecture.

On March 24, 2017, the Meizhou Municipal People's Government designated Shizhen Village Shilu as part of the fifth batch of Meizhou Municipal Cultural Heritage Protection Units.

Fenglang Town: Fenglang Town is situated in the southeastern part of Dabu County, at the foot of Xiyang Mountain and along the upper reaches of the Meitan River. It borders Pingyuan County to the west, Dadong to the east, Baihou to the north, and Raoping County to the south, and is 18 kilometers away from the county seat of Dabu. The town covers a total area of 87.23 square kilometers, including 6,033.3 hectares of mountainous land and 800 hectares of arable land.

　The central area of the town is flat and open, with meandering streams surrounded by peaks, and is the production site of the renowned Xiyang tea. The region enjoys a subtropical climate with distinct seasons, an average annual temperature of 15.8°C, a frost-free period of 240 days, and an average annual rainfall of 1,193 mm.
