The former site of the Southern Bureau of the Chinese Communist Party is a Meizhou Municipal Cultural Heritage Protection Unit.

The former site of the Southern Bureau of the Chinese Communist Party is located in Dapujiao Village, Fenglang Town, Dabu County, Meizhou City. Dating back to the Republican era, it is considered an important modern historical site and representative architecture.

On June 29, 2016, the Meizhou Municipal People's Government designated it as part of the fourth batch of Meizhou Municipal Cultural Heritage Protection Units.

Fenglang Town: Located in the southeastern part of Dabu County, Fenglang Town lies at the foot of Xiyang Mountain and along the upper reaches of the Meitan River. It borders Pingyuan District to the west, Dadong to the east, Baihou to the north, and Raoping County to the south, and is 18 kilometers from the county seat of Dabu. The town covers a total area of 87.23 square kilometers, including 6,033.3 hectares of mountainous land and 800 hectares of arable land.

　The central area of the town is flat and open, with meandering streams and surrounded by peaks, and is the production area of the renowned Xiyang tea.
