Hu Shi Zuan Yi Hall

Hu Shi Zuan Yi Hall is a Meizhou Municipal Cultural Heritage Protection Unit.

Hu Shi Zuan Yi Hall is located in Hushi Village, Qingxi Town, Dabu County, Meizhou City. Dating back to the Qing Dynasty, it is considered an important modern historical site and representative architecture.

On June 29, 2016, the Meizhou Municipal People's Government designated Hu Shi Zuan Yi Hall as part of the fourth batch of Meizhou Municipal Cultural Heritage Protection Units.

Qingxi Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Dabu County. During the Ming and Qing dynasties, it was called Hutousha, Qingxi She, and Pingsha She. In the 41st year of the Jiajing reign of the Ming Dynasty (1562), a patrol inspection office was established in Hutousha within the territory. In 1949, it was known as Pubei District; in 1957, the Qingxi Township was carved out; in 1958, it was incorporated into Pucheng Commune; in 1961, Pubei Commune was established; in the same year, it was renamed Qingxi Commune; in 1983, it became a district; in 1986, it reverted to a township; and in 1993, it was upgraded to a town. Located in the northwest of the county, it borders Yongding County of Fujian Province to the north and is 22 kilometers from the county seat.
