Johannesburg Art Gallery
Introduction Located in Joubert Park, the Johannesburg Art Gallery is housed in a fascinating building that combines both modern and traditional architecture. The gallery boasts a collection that represents both international and South African art, as well as a print room with a collection of over 2,500 items. African tribal art is exhibited at the Gertrude Posel Gallery at the University of the Witwatersrand, which specializes in showcasing vanishing African artworks such as masks, headdresses, and beadwork.
