Since the launch of the Dubai–Johannesburg route, passenger numbers have steadily increased, and the demand for trade and tourism between the two cities has grown year by year. In addition to Johannesburg, Emirates also offers direct flights from Dubai to Cape Town and Durban. With the increase in Dubai–Johannesburg frequencies starting October 26, Emirates will operate up to 49 weekly round-trip flights between Dubai and South Africa. This makes it even more convenient for global travelers to visit South Africa or Hungary for tourism or business via Emirates’ extensive flight network.

Emirates, based in Dubai, has the world’s largest fleet of Airbus A380s, with its 50th A380 recently delivered.
