The Zagreb Ethnographic Museum is located in a square in Zagreb. Established in 1919, it is a museum dedicated to collecting heritage related to various ethnic groups in Croatia and is the largest and most renowned ethnographic museum in the country.

The Zagreb Ethnographic Museum’s collection includes up to 80,000 items that represent the cultures and heritage of various ethnic groups in Croatia. Based on different ethnicities and types of collections, the exhibits are categorized into costumes, small wooden ornaments, pottery and wicker crafts, household items, musical instruments, traditional accessories, textiles, and more. The museum's collection of small wooden ornaments alone contains 1,500 pieces, including plates, cups, boxes, photo frames, wooden bottles, badminton rackets, spinning reels, and more—diverse in type and exquisitely crafted, making every visitor wish they could take some home. The household items number around 2,000, originating from various regions of Croatia. These are everyday objects made of wood and iron, with a variety of furniture from the mid-18th century to the early 20th century being particularly representative.
