This year’s “Sixth Travel’s Meaning – 2014 Global Chinese Top 100 Travelers” takes 【Rotating the World’s Lens – Travel Photography Competition】 as its theme, continuing the spirit of past events and once again inviting travelers from around the world to step onto the grandest global stage of travel sharing and competitive glory.The selection process involves three rigorous stages: “online submission, online voting, and judging final selection,” aiming to choose the best “2014 Global Chinese Top 100 Travelers” of the year.
Since 2009, TRAVELER Luxe旅人志 has pioneered online events in the travel industry by launching the “Travel’s Meaning – Telling Travelers’ Stories Through Photos” selection campaign.In 2012, it expanded further with the “Fourth Travel’s Meaning – 2012 Taiwan’s New Top 100 Travelers” selection event. In 2013, TRAVELER Luxe旅人志 partnered with Lonely Planet (Chinese Simplified Edition) to co-create the highest-standard “Fifth Travel’s Meaning – 2013 Global Chinese Top 100 Travelers” selection event, highlighting how successful individuals evolve from “workaholics into travelers,” achieving what Japanese trend expert Kenichi Ohmae promotes in his OFF theory: “To succeed, you must know how to play!”
This year, the “Sixth Travel’s Meaning – 2014 Global Chinese Top 100 Travelers” selection event, themed 【Rotating the World’s Lens】, invites travelers to share the most stunning travel photos along with touching short stories, taking us on a visual journey through the most moving travel landscapes around the world. The top prize winner will exclusively receive the Sunny Day Travel Croatia Gold Award Itinerary, elevating the traveler’s global perspective and stature. At the same time, the “Sixth Travel’s Meaning – 2014 Global Chinese Top 100 Travelers” selection event will also presentannual travel awards including “China Airlines round-trip tickets to Hawaii and Bangkok, classic stays at Hangzhou Lakeside Hotel, and American Express Travelers Cheques.”The event will also hold an awards ceremony on-site at the “2014 Taipei International Travel Fair” in November this year to publicly honor the “2014 Global Chinese Top 100 Travelers,” expected to be the climax of the entire event.
