The Meštrović Gallery

The Meštrović Gallery is an art museum located in Split, within the Split-Dalmatia County of Croatia. Established in 1952, it is dedicated to collecting the outstanding works of Ivan Meštrović, a 20th-century Croatian sculptor and architect.

The gallery preserves and exhibits the finest artworks of Meštrović for the public to better appreciate the artistic expressions of this great master. Its collection includes 192 sculptures, 583 prints, 4 oil paintings, 2 sets of furniture, and 291 architectural drawings (created between 1898 and 1961, nearly all by Meštrović), as well as 168 artworks from the artist's heirs. The sculptures, made from marble, wood, and bronze, are each exquisitely crafted, showcasing the artist’s boundless creativity.
