St. Stephen's Cathedral is a Gothic church located in the heart of Vienna and one of the tallest Gothic structures in Europe, featuring strong regional characteristics reminiscent of Eastern European churches.

The exterior roof is covered with large, vibrant decorative patterns and is known as the "Soul of Vienna." Its construction started in 1304 and was completed two centuries later. It is regarded as a masterpiece that represents the culmination of centuries of architectural artistry. The cathedral was destroyed during World War II and was subsequently rebuilt over a period of 10 years, finally restored to its former glory by 1958.

The cathedral consists of one main building and three towers, among which the south tower is the most spectacular, standing at 138 meters tall in a cone shape that pierces the sky. The blue and yellow roof tiles embedded in the roof shine brilliantly, striking and magnificent. Inside the tower is the Figaro Hall, where the famous composer Mozart composed the world-renowned music for "The Marriage of Figaro." The great musician Haydn joined the boys' choir here when he was 8 years old. During holidays, the cathedral attracts throngs of worshippers and visitors.
