Attraction Introduction

The Spanish Riding School got its name because it originally used only Spanish horses. Nowadays, the display of classical riding skills features the white Lipizzaner horses. This breed has Spanish, Neapolitan, and Arabian lineage, and originally came from Libya. They are born dark gray and only develop their striking white coat when they are around 7 years old.

The performances of the Riding School showcase principles of equine dressage, such as high leaps with front legs raised and rearing on hind legs. These are followed by classical dressage in the form of "horse ballet," which seems to freeze the Baroque era in a single moment, captivating visitors.
