The Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna is housed in a magnificent building along the Ringstraße in Vienna. The museum has over 50 exhibition rooms covering themes such as Egyptian and Oriental Art, Greek and Roman Art, European Paintings, Sculpture and Decorative Arts, Medals and Coins, Weapons, Ancient Musical Instruments, Imperial Carriages, 19th-Century Paintings, and Imperial Treasures. Its collection of over 400,000 precious ancient coins is even comparable to the renowned Paris Coin Cabinet.
