The Albertina Museum is located in Vienna's Innere Stadt and is one of Austria’s most renowned art museums. It houses one of Europe’s largest private collections of classical and modern art, making it one of the best museums in Austria for appreciating, studying, and researching art.

The Albertina Museum’s collection is uniquely positioned as an important addition to the international modern art and French Impressionist, Post-Impressionist, German Expressionist, Fauvist, and avant-garde Russian works held by the Austrian National Museum. This distinctive museum boasts the world’s largest and most significant graphic art collection, including approximately 65,000 drawings and around 1 million prints by Old Masters, as well as more contemporary graphic works, photographs, and architectural drawings used for architecture and photography exhibitions.

The Albertina Museum’s collection continues to grow. In addition to graphic artworks, recent long-term loans have acquired two significant collections of Impressionist and early 20th-century art, some of which will be on permanent display.
