The National Gallery of Denmark (National Gallery of Denmark) is located at the southeast corner of Copenhagen City Hall. Established in 1740, it is the largest and most comprehensive museum in Denmark. The exhibits include relics from the Ice Age, medieval Danish furniture, and pirate tools, as well as life-sized recreations of Viking tents, clothing, weapons, and ships. It is especially famous for its ancient short swords and highly valuable bronze statues.

Currently, the National Gallery of Denmark is characterized by its latest design — elegant, clean, and immaculately dust-free, with the building itself being a visual delight. Denmark’s history and development are presented here for visitors to explore. The exhibitions held here each year attract worldwide attention. It is an 8-minute walk from Copenhagen Central Station. The museum is closed on Mondays, and open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on other days.
