The Pingtung Lantern Festival has received widespread praise since its launch. Even before the event ends, the Taiwanese Representative Office in Denmark announced via Facebook that the Culture Bureau of Copenhagen’s Inner City (Indre By) has invited Pingtung County to take part in the Copenhagen Light Festival exhibition activities in February next year. The lantern art area is a collaboration between renowned domestic and international artists, literary writers, and artisans, integrating local creativity to give the lanterns vitality and storytelling. Among them, “Ping’an Time,” “Hengfeng Spring Nest,” and “Zhutian Chronicles” have been invited to exhibit this year8in June in Denmark. Along the nearby local waterfront, there are also well-known tourist attractions such as Hamlet’s Castle (Cronborg Castle), the Danish Maritime Museum (Maritime Museum)), among others.
