1. Hsinchu – Veterans' Village Museum
The Veterans' Village Museum in Hsinchu City is dedicated to introducing the culture of veterans' villages in Hsinchu and is the first museum in Taiwan themed around veterans' villages. The museum displays cultural relics related to Hsinchu’s veterans' villages, and its large, colorful exterior wall is one of the must-photograph features for many visitors.

2. Kinmen – Kinhu Colorful Houses
 

Located by a small river near the bustling area of Shanwai in Kinmen, there is a row of buildings with an exotic look reminiscent of Copenhagen, Denmark. These painted buildings were transformed through a building façade improvement project planned by the Kinhu Township Office, where each house was painted and decorated in a single color. This turned the once ordinary area south of the stream in Shanwai into a surprisingly popular attraction.
