Must-visit "Six Forgotten Giants" outdoor wooden sculpture exhibition in Copenhagen

Aside from visiting the Little Mermaid statue by the harbor and buying LEGO in Denmark, there's now a very interesting wooden sculpture exhibition in the suburbs of Copenhagen featuring sculptures in various poses and expressions that are quite amusing.

According to Lonely Planet, these six giant wooden sculptures were created by artist Thomas Dambo together with local volunteers, using recyclable materials. The project is called "The Six Forgotten Giants," and the sculptures are located in Rødovre, Hvidovre, Vallensbæk, Ishøj, Albertslund, and Høje-Taastrup. Since their unveiling, they have become very popular with children and tourists alike.

These six large wooden giants appear friendly and have attracted many visitors to the forests in search of them. Aside from potential wear and tear, the statues will basically remain on display at these locations permanently. In addition to classic must-visit spots, these new installations are definitely worth exploring.
