Ark Modern Art Museum (Arken Museum of Modern Art) is a state-authorized private modern art museum in Denmark, located in the suburban city of Ishøj, 20 kilometers south of Copenhagen, near Køge. The museum was designed by Danish architect Søren Robert Lund and features a uniquely striking architectural style with an impressive and grand exterior. It officially opened on March 15, 1996, in the presence of Queen Margrethe II of Denmark. After renovation, the museum reopened in January 2008 with a 50% increase in gallery space.

The Ark Modern Art Museum primarily houses contemporary artworks by Danish, Scandinavian, and international artists. It also holds a collection of over 400 post-war contemporary pieces, including works by renowned British contemporary artist Damien Hirst, Danish-Icelandic artist Olafur Eliasson, Iranian visual artist Shirin Neshat, and German artist Wolfgang Tillmans. Among these, the eight pieces donated by world-famous artist Damien Hirst form one of the most essential core collections of the Ark Modern Art Museum.
