The Copenhagen Opera House (Copenhagen Opera House) is one of the most advanced and most expensive opera houses in the world. With a construction cost of $500 million and a building period of four years, it was completed in January 2005 and is located on Holmen Island (Island of Holmen) in the city center of Copenhagen, Denmark.

Designed by the renowned Danish architect Henning Larsen, the Copenhagen Opera House is a striking large-scale modern building and one of the newest opera houses in Europe. Its exterior is particularly eye-catching: a massive architectural structure rises from a square base, with a rounded glass facade serving as the main entrance that offers a view of the harbor from the plaza. Behind the glass curtain wall lies a light brown Jurassic rock structure housing the core areas of the opera house.

The Copenhagen Opera House has 14 floors—9 above ground and 5 underground—with a total floor area of 41,000 square meters, including 12,000 square meters underground. The height of the building, measured from the top of the tower, is 38 meters. The main auditorium can accommodate 1,500 spectators, and the orchestra pit can hold 110 musicians. In addition, there are five stages and a "studio theatre" that can seat 200 people. The roof of the main hall is even decorated with 105,000 sheets of 24-carat gold leaf, making it a truly magnificent music venue.

The acoustics of the Copenhagen Opera House are among the best in the world.
