Introduction

Oslo Cathedral was built in 1697, and its towering spire is a symbol of the city. The beautiful stained glass is the work of Emanual Vigeland (the brother of sculptor Gustav Vigeland). Surrounding the cathedral is a row of Basarhallene antique shops built between 1841 and 1858.
