These individuals are recognized not only for their contributions to economic advancement but also forbringingpositive moral values tosociety. The “Business for Peace Award” is supported by prestigious institutions such as the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC),the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP),and the United Nations Global Compact, making it a highly authoritative award often referred to as the Nobel Prize of the business world.The awardis presented at a grand ceremony held in the Oslo City Hall, Norway, where a jury composed of several Nobel Peace Prize or Economics Prize laureates selects the exceptional annual awardees. Ms. Law was selected at the age of fourteen to be“Outstanding Student of Hong Kong”, becoming the youngest recipient in history and the only person from Hong Kong to subsequently win“Ten Outstanding Young Persons of Hong Kong”and“Ten Outstanding Young Persons of the World,”making her a triple award-winning achiever. She is the second Hong Kong awardee representing the Business, Economic &/or Enterprise category since 1995.
At the age of fifteen, Ms. Law was awarded a scholarship to study at Duke University in North Carolina, USA, where she graduated at nineteen with a First-Class Honours Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. After graduation, she returned to Hong Kong to manage the family’s hotel and real estate businesses. Through innovative and cost-effective marketing strategies, she turned the luxury residential project “Belgravia Gardens” by Regal Group into a hot topic in the city. The project not only attracted numerous wealthy individuals and celebrities eager to reside there, but also generated substantial revenue for the company.
As Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of Regal Hotels International, Ms. Law actively spearheaded various development projects for the group, including initiating multiple renovation projects and establishing the boutique service hotel brand – Regal iClub Hotels, tailored for travellers with a taste for fashion and high-tech amenities. Regal iClub Hotels is not only a trendsetter in interactive innovation within the hotel industry, but also the first carbon-neutral hotel in Hong Kong and the first hotel in the city to adopt mobile phone room entry technology.
In 2012, Ms. Law also created the brand “BabyBoss,” a globally beloved and trusted educational cartoon brand for children and parents, while also developing original animations that have won numerous awards. These include the Best Mobile Game Award and the Best Single-Player Game Award for educational game software at the Golden Pocket Awards. In animation, the brand has received accolades such as the Top Ten Original Gold Awards at the Shenzhen Animation Festival and the Best Animated Series Award at the Macau International Television Festival. In April 2015, according to a CCTV-Sofres 30-city ratings survey report, “BabyBoss: Super Power Battle” claimed the top spot in prime-time viewership. Additionally, BabyBoss music albums topped the charts for children's music on Apple Music stores in both Hong Kong and the United States. In 2014, she also founded the “BabyBoss Charity Fund” to help children in need.
