TusenFryd Amusement Park is a large theme park located in the village of Vinterbro, Norway, 20 kilometers south of Oslo. The two longest highways in Norway, E6 and E18, intersect east of the park. Opened on June 11, 1988, it is open to visitors from April to October each year and is one of Norway’s most popular amusement parks among young people. The park features a total of 31 different types of rides and attractions, attracting around 500,000 visitors annually.

Covering an area of 115 acres, TusenFryd is a classic amusement park equipped with infrastructure such as roller coasters, carousels, games, and entertainment facilities. Among them, the ThunderCoaster is the park’s most iconic and Europe’s largest wooden roller coaster, standing 95 meters high, reaching speeds of up to 100 km/h, and featuring 12 high-altitude twists. Additionally, the SpeedMonster roller coaster can accelerate from 0 to 90 km/h in just 2.2 seconds, while the SuperSplash water ride has a maximum incline of 50 degrees and tops out at 75 km/h, offering an exhilarating experience.

In addition to these thrilling rides, TusenFryd also offers a water park for younger children and relaxing entertainment options such as a 3D cinema.
