A Coruña is a port city located on the Atlantic coast in northwestern Spain, belonging to the Galicia region and serving as the capital of the Province of A Coruña. It is the seventh-largest city in Spain and the second-largest in the autonomous community of Galicia. The world-famous Tower of Hercules (Torre de Hércules) is situated in this city.

The most iconic landmark in A Coruña is the Tower of Hercules (Torre de Hércules), built during the Roman era and named after the Greek mythological hero Heracles. It has been in use for nearly two thousand years and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
