Yifen Park

Yifen Park is one of the first Jinyang Culture-themed parks in Taiyuan. The construction of the park aims to help the world understand that Jinyang culture is an important part of China’s outstanding traditional culture. It is a rich cultural heritage bestowed upon the people of Jinyang by history, and it also reflects the indomitable character of the people living in the Jinyang region as well as their spirit of hard work, perseverance, and innovation.

The park is divided into three functional areas: north, central, and south. The northern area is marked by a circular plaza, at the center of which stands a large matchstick sculpture, a statue of Xu Jishe, and a memorial pavilion.
