Nangong August First Film and Television Base
The Beijing August First Film and Television Base, located at the August First shooting base in Nangong Village, is currently the only multifunctional military film and television production base in China. It covers a vast area and features Western-style buildings, a 1:1 replica of the "Beiping First Prison," the courtyard used in the filming of "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon," ancient city walls, vintage war chariots, and a range of cars used by world leaders from different eras, along with various types of prop vehicles used in filming. The sets and structures from wartime periods are also very comprehensive, giving visitors the immersive feeling of being on a battlefield filled with the smoke of war in the last century. For experiencing the atmosphere of war, this is undoubtedly the best destination.
The terrain of the August First Base has relatively dramatic elevation changes, with crisscrossing trenches and expansive grounds that can accommodate up to three hundred people engaging in battles simultaneously, allowing visitors to fully enjoy the thrill of field combat. It is ideal for those who are physically fit and have a strong interest in field battles and positional warfare. The diverse landscapes also make it highly suitable for a variety of extreme sports activities.
Here, you can put on special camouflage gear, equip yourself with laser combat weapons that blend traditional and modern technology, dash through realistic battlefields straight out of the movies, take cover in the trenches of the "Eighth Route Army," await the enemy’s major offensive, and immerse yourself in the spirit of the People's Liberation Army's August First legacy.
