Established in 1971, it is housed in a medieval Renaissance-style historic building with four floors, showcasing toys from around the world with a long history. The museum not only houses an astonishing number of toys, but also covers an impressively wide range of time periods, dating back as early as the Middle Ages. Most of the collection, however, focuses on toys from the past two centuries. Photography is not allowed during the museum visit.
