adidas Live the Edge Debuts at Nanjing Asia Expo
Adidas, named after its founder Adolf "Adi" Dassler, began producing footwear in Herzogenaurach near Nuremberg, Germany, in 1920. It was registered as adidas AG on August 18, 1949. What many people don’t know is that well-known outdoor brands such as ARC’TERYX and SALOMON were once also under the Adidas umbrella. Although they were later sold, the core teams and technologies were retained. Recently, Adidas has acquired the FiveTen brand, further demonstrating its commitment to entering the outdoor market.
