Located in southeastern Germany and just a few hours’ drive from Frankfurt, Nuremberg boasts Germany’s largest Christmas market, also known locally as the ‘Christkindlesmarkt.’ Each year, the market is held in the city’s main square (Hauptmarkt), featuring up to 180 stalls offering everything from festive decorations and handicrafts to traditional treats, along with a variety of colorful Christmas events. It’s no wonder the market attracts over 2 million visitors annually.

The themes range from sports and music to family-friendly activities. One highlight is the 12-meter-high, 70-meter-long giant sledding hill set up at Potsdamer Platz, where visitors can enjoy the thrill of sledding.
