Caracas Children's Museum

The Caracas Children's Museum is the earliest children's museum in Latin America and one of the most important museums in Venezuela. Located in the capital of Venezuela, it was completed in 1982, but preparatory work began as early as 1974.

The Caracas Children's Museum is dedicated to providing a space for extracurricular activities where the country’s children can receive ideological education, expand their cultural knowledge, and stimulate their intelligence. Based on the characteristics of Venezuelan children, and through visits, surveys, and research into the interests of these young children as well as the practical knowledge they need to acquire at an early age, the museum has established several major exhibition halls including biology, communication, physics, ecology, space exploration, culture, and art. It aims to inspire children's curiosity, imagination, creativity, and problem-solving skills, as well as enhance their social interaction abilities, cooperative skills, and capacity for creative activities—all through hands-on experiences and learning by doing.
