Nature’s miraculous masterpieces are too numerous to count, and the lifetime must-visit wonders always leave people in awe. So fantastical are these sights that they seem crafted by computer-generated effects, hence they are often used as backdrops or sources of inspiration for films, animations, and games. One of the locations frequently featured as settings in games and animations is the Guiana Shield in South America, spanning parts of Brazil, Guyana, Venezuela, and other countries. In addition to hosting numerous table mountains that rise thousands of meters high and stretch for tens of kilometers, it is also the source of some of the world’s most spectacular waterfalls, such as Angel Falls.
