Founded in 1936, the Ukrainian Museum of Canada is the first museum in Canada dedicated to Ukrainians. It is committed to the collection and preservation of the history, culture, and heritage of Ukrainians living in Canada and has become one of the most important Ukrainian museums in the country.

The Ukrainian Museum of Canada boasts a dazzling and diverse collection, with many items dating back over a hundred years. These include irreplaceable garments, linen products, tools, books, photographs, documents, and more. These invaluable treasures originate from the first, second, and third waves of Ukrainian immigration to Canada, making it the museum with the largest collection of Ukrainian ethnic textiles in North America. The museum also houses thousands of Ukrainian Easter eggs, religious artifacts, wood carvings, shoes, beaded decorative items, and more. A gift shop is also available on-site, offering traditional Ukrainian clothing, books, paintings, handicrafts, wedding gifts, and jewelry—perfect for visitors looking to take home a meaningful souvenir.

The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 to 17:00, and on Sundays from 13:00 to 17:00. It is closed on Mondays and national public holidays.
