In collaboration with a major gaming company, the Taichung City Government invited renowned Taiwanese-American Hollywood sculptor Sam Wang to meticulously craft a statue of the popular "Arthas" character from the Warcraft series, creating a new landmark on the Calligraphy Greenway, where it will stay for eight years.

As the only Arthas statue in all of Asia, this two-story, 1,814-kilogram masterpiece stands vividly and impressively on the Calligraphy Greenway, becoming a one-of-a-kind cultural landmark. The hope is that beyond being a hero from esports and gaming, this Arthas statue can also become a famous attraction in Taichung.
