The widely acclaimed Taipei Riverside Music Festival has scaled up this year by joining forces with the most awaited "Dadaocheng Lovers' Day" event. Featured performers include popular singers Chen f, Chairman Band, and Matthew Lien, with an exciting fireworks display on the evening of August 6. The show will be accompanied by innovative remix music, offering a refreshing experience. From now until August 27, every weekend, the public can head to the riverside parks to enjoy music and explore markets, immersing themselves in the summer fun and charm along the water.

The "2016 Taipei Riverside Music Festival" weekly series events feature performances by Chen f, Chairman Band, Matthew Lien, Xiao Fu-de, Zhang San Li Si, Funk Brothers, Pia, Nikki Sauce, Hoklo Power Company, and Rolling Clouds. Under the setting sun, sway to the music together at Dadaocheng Wharf.

The annually most anticipated "Dadaocheng Lovers' Day" event is set to launch on August 6 (Saturday). Headlined by Chairman Band, Chen f, and Matthew Lien, the four-hour non-stop live music session at Dadaocheng Wharf will feature a Dream Market, interactive booths, classic old shops, and food trucks. A spectacular fireworks show will also light up the sky, complemented by creative mixed music, inviting couples and all visitors to welcome a dazzling and romantic summer by the riverside.

The weekend River Market invites visitors to explore Taipei’s historic riverside districts, bringing together artisans, cultural and creative designs, performance art, traditional crafts, community initiatives, and local businesses. Stroll through the charming old neighborhoods filled with tradition, browse unique and thought-provoking goods at market stalls, and in the evening, sway to the tunes of summer music by the river — creating a memorable summer journey along the Taipei riverside.
