Prince Albert Historical Museum
The Prince Albert Historical Museum is located in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Canada. Opened in 1932, it occupies the city's first fire hall, built in 1912 and overlooking the North Saskatchewan River. It is a museum dedicated to showcasing the history of Prince Albert.
Initially, the Prince Albert Historical Museum was housed in a church school built in 1867 before relocating to its current site. Until 1975, the building served as the city’s fire hall before being converted into a museum. The museum narrates the rich history of Prince Albert, displaying the city's first fire pump, vintage fire engines, fire poles, a pair of socks belonging to Queen Victoria, a thousand-year-old local canoe, as well as artifacts related to Indigenous fur trade and pioneer daily life.
