National Museum of Cambodia

A typical Cambodian red building, the museum houses precious cultural relics and artworks from different eras of Cambodia. Established in 1913, it currently features handicrafts and carved artworks from the 4th to 10th centuries, the Angkor period, several photos of Angkor taken by French photographers, as well as many authentic sculptures from Angkor Wat. It's very helpful to do some research here before visiting Angkor Wat. The museum has an open design, which is very beautiful and full of exotic charm. In the center stands a small pavilion enshrining a statue, surrounded by four artificial lotus ponds interspersed with lawns and benches, acting like sound barriers that block out the noise of the bustling city outside, allowing visitors to quietly explore and appreciate the exhibits.
