This grand Buddha, part of the Phra Yai Temple, stands 12 meters tall and is resplendent in gold, creating a spectacular sight and serving as a landmark on the sea of Koh Samui. The beach is situated in the northeast of Koh Samui and functions as the island’s transportation hub, being just a 15-minute drive from the international airport, making it the closest beach to an airport among all beaches in Thailand.
