To position Thailand as the hub of Asian body painting art, the Tourism Authority of Thailand has invited artists and models from around the world, including Germany, Austria, Romania, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, the UK, and the US. They will create exquisite artworks themed “preserve the paradise” on the beaches of Samui.

The event will also feature nail painting, doll painting, and upcycled item painting. Attendees can even become models and get painted on their own bodies. The event will take place on March 26–27, 2011, from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM at Buddy Oriental Samui Beach Resort on Lamai Beach in Samui. Admission is free, and the public is encouraged to attend.
