Madame Tussauds Bangkok is the third Madame Tussauds museum to be established in Asia, following those in Hong Kong and Shanghai. Located on the sixth floor of Siam Discovery shopping mall in Bangkok, it opened in 2010. With an investment of 500 million baht, the museum features an exhibition area of nearly 3,000 square meters. As the first Madame Tussauds in Southeast Asia, it is one of the must-visit attractions for all travelers to Bangkok.

The museum’s innovative exterior and striking modern architectural design have made it a new landmark in Bangkok. Inside, there is a Royal Exhibition Hall that displays wax figures of members of the Thai royal family, including the sons and daughters of King Rama V. This allows visitors to learn about the lives of the parents of the Thai king and gain a deeper understanding of the Chakri Dynasty. Like other Madame Tussauds locations, Bangkok’s version also features many celebrity wax figures. Visitors can get up close with 70 internationally and locally renowned historical figures, global leaders, as well as personalities from the worlds of art, science, entertainment, and sports—such as Princess Diana, Queen Elizabeth II, the Prime Minister of Thailand, as well as artistic and scientific figures like Beethoven, Einstein, the Thai royal poet Sunthorn Phu, and world-famous celebrities such as Michael Jackson, David Beckham, George Clooney, Brad Pitt, and Angelina Jolie.
