Unlimited time in a sea of books: Bangkok’s first 24-hour library to open by year-end

Bangkok now has another artsy nighttime destination to explore. The city’s first 24-hour library, “Bangkok Metropolitan Library,” is expected to be completed and opened by the end of 2016, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in reading without time restrictions.
According to foreign media reports, the Bangkok Metropolitan Library has around four floors and offers both Thai and foreign language books, including travel, business, classic literature from various countries, history, rare editions, and reference books. It also features exhibition spaces and a café.

The Bangkok Metropolitan Library is free to the public, but borrowing books requires membership. Membership fees are 25 Thai baht for adults and 5–15 Thai baht for children.
