A bombing occurred in Bangkok, Thailand, on the evening of the 17th, with at least 20 deaths confirmed so far.The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government also announced on the 18th that, effective immediately, the travel alert level for Bangkok has been raised to red, while other areas in Thailand remain at yellow.

Hong Kong authorities remind the public that residents planning to visit Bangkok should adjust their travel plans and avoid going there unless necessary. Those already in Bangkok should pay close attention to announcements from local authorities to ensure their safety and stay away from affected areas. Taiwan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the travel alert for Thailand remains at yellow for now.
