Qixing Mountain is located within Yangmingshan National Park, with its main peak standing at an elevation of 1,120 meters, making it the highest peak in the Datun Volcano Group. Its summit was originally a volcanic crater, which over time eroded into seven smaller hilltops—hence the name "Seven Stars." Seven Stars Park is situated on the mountainside of Qixing Mountain. The park features simple yet elegant pavilions and expansive, comfortable lawns where hikers can rest. On leisurely holidays, groups of visitors can often be seen relaxing here in peaceful enjoyment.

Visitors to Seven Stars Park can not only gaze at the bustling urban skyline of greater Taipei but also admire the beauty of nearby peaks and overlook the confluence of the Tamsui River and the Keelung River as they flow toward the sea. The views of blue skies, green land, mountain ranges, and ocean waters are all visible in one sweeping glance. Continuing onward from the park, visitors can reach Qixing East Peak, then Qixing Main Peak, and finally Xiaoyoukeng. Along the way, the rich natural ecological landscape changes with the seasons, presenting a variety of scenery that is both fascinating and makes for an excellent spot to intimately connect with nature.
