The Dharma Drum Mountain Nung Chan Monastery in Beitou features elegant and solemn architectural concrete designs paired with the shimmering light of the Water-Moon Pond, creating a serene and poetic environment. It attracts many visitors to take photos and capture its idyllic atmosphere, making it a popular Instagram hotspot.

Built in 1913, the Beitou Hot Spring Bathhouse was constructed by the Taipei Prefecture in imitation of the Izu-Yama Hot Springs in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. It was a renowned public bathhouse during the Japanese colonial period. The first floor houses large and small blue-sulfur hot spring bathtubs with installed cabinetry, while the second floor features an observation deck. After Taiwan’s retrocession, it was opened to travelers for hot spring bathing.

The once iconic Japanese-style old train station of Xinbeitou—the Xinbeitou Station—was "exiled" to Changhua for nearly 30 years due to the construction of the MRT, but after many twists and turns, it finally returned home on its 100th birthday. The Xinbeitou Station officially opened in 1916 and is the only remaining station on the former TRA Beidao Line. Its structure is entirely made of wood using mortise-and-tenon joints, and its roof features decorative ventilation windows and the distinctive 3+1 configuration of dormer windows.

Located within Beitou Park, Beitou Library is Taiwan’s first green building library. Not only are its materials recyclable and reusable, but the interior also uses eco-friendly paint. The design incorporates wooden lattice screens and deep overhang balconies to reduce heat radiation entering the interior, thereby achieving energy-saving and carbon-reduction effects.
