Snow Mountain Pit is located at the confluence of Snow Mountain Pit Creek and Da’an River, where peach blossoms dancing in the spring breeze display their most enchanting beauty. Surrounded by mountains, it forms a magnificent valley landscape. The residents make a living through farming, with the sweet persimmons and ponkan oranges from Motianling being the most famous. The peach orchards on the plateau create the most spectacular and intoxicating peach blossom scenery, and around New Year’s Day each year, the hills and fields around Snow Mountain Pit are covered in a riot of blooming peach blossoms, adding a vibrant and colorful touch to the otherwise tranquil Da’an River valley.
